Michael Giordano is the Founder and President of Cutting Edge Stoneworks, a family-owned and operated business proudly serving the Mooresville, NC area for over 20 years. Prior to launching in North Carolina, Michael successfully ran a similar operation in New York and New Jersey, specializing exclusively in subcontracted fabrication and installation of countertops for kitchens (indoor and outdoor), bathrooms, bars, fireplace surrounds, and shower walls—serving only the professional trades market.

With a focus on superior service for all clients, regardless of size, Mike has developed strong, long-standing relationships with many of the top custom homebuilders throughout the Carolinas. In 2022, Cutting Edge Stoneworks expanded into a new state-of-the-art facility featuring an 8,000 sq. ft. showroom and office space and a 30,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop. In 2026 we added a 3,500 sq. ft. indoor natural stone gallery.

The fabrication facility is equipped with industry-leading technology, including the BACA M240 Saw/Waterjet Robot, GMM Saw, Intermac CNC Routers, Flow Waterjet, BACA Miter X, and the Sasso Edge Machine. To streamline slab layout and material utilization, the company uses SlabSmith Digital Layout Software.

Operations are powered by Stone App, an advanced software system that manages inventory and workflow. The company has four professional installation crews trained in the latest methods and tools, along with three laser templating teams utilizing the 2D/3D Laser Templator and Raptor Software for precise measurements.
