Modern Mountain Builders is a growing residential and commercial contractor serving WNC. We specialize in custom homes, renovations, commercial construction, and community development. We believe great construction starts with great people, clear communication, and strong project management.
We're looking for a Residential Project Manager who enjoys organizing complex projects, building relationships with clients and trade partners, and keeping projects moving from pre-construction through closeout.

What You'll Do
As a Residential Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple residential construction projects by:
- Managing projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries.
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and trade partners.
- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
- Managing RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Tracking project progress and proactively identifying schedule or budget risks.
- Collaborating closely with company leadership to deliver successful projects.
- Maintaining organized project records in JobTread and Google Suites.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in residential construction.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience using JobTread or similar software.
- Experience with permitting, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and change orders.
- Experience managing custom homes or renovations.
- Experience with site, civil, and horizontal work.
Benefits Details
- $160/Month stipend towards selected health insurance
- 10 PTO days (prorated) after 90 days of employment
- 5 Sick days starting on the first day

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
