Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team. In this role, you will analyze project blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate, competitive, and comprehensive cost estimates for residential construction projects. We are willing to train, this is an entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scopes.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and scope compliance.
• Prepare complete bid packages, proposal submissions, and budget breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve cost discrepancies and clarify project requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, post-bid reviews, and project handoffs to operational teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: No experience required.
• Software Skills: Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, OST/Bluebeam, ProCore, or RSMeans) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and reading architectural/engineering blueprints.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, mathematical, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
