Job Description:
Southeastern Tile Connection, a leading distributor of high-quality tiles, is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments of tiles and other related materials
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move safely and stack materials
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (valid certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Applicant will be required to pass an illicit drug screening & upon hiring regular drug screenings
