The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various job sites. This role involves diagnosing and resolving drainage issues, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Perform inspections and assessments of drainage systems to identify issues.
- Utilize schematics to understand plumbing layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Execute construction plumbing tasks, including pipe installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Engage in pipe threading and assembly tasks as needed for project completion.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required to transport materials and equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read blueprints is essential.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Experience with power tools and heavy lifting techniques is required.
- A maintenance person background is beneficial for performing diverse tasks on-site.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required for transportation of equipment between job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
