Estimator – Semper Fi Custom Remodeling
Semper Fi Custom Remodeling is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical estimator to join our team for an in office position in Black Mountain, NC. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling and are looking for a professional with a strong construction background who is comfortable using technology to analyze and prepare project estimates. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and possesses strong analytical skills to ensure accurate project costing and profitability. Since our estimates are fixed cost, precision in estimating is extremely important to avoid overruns and maintain project success.
Compensation
- $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software, with experience in JobTread considered a plus, to streamline the estimating process.
- Collaborate with the project development team, designers, and vendors to ensure accurate pricing and material costs.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure estimates support profitability and project success.
- Continuously analyze costs and improve estimating strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in client presentations to address questions related to the scope of work and budget.
- Conduct post-project reviews with project managers to assess budgetary outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong construction background with experience in residential remodeling or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and estimating software; JobTread experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
