Full job description
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Maintain concrete block forms (structurally)
- Strip, clean, oil, and close forms
- Pull structure ensuring no damage to form or structure
- Ensure reinforcement is properly installed
- Clean plant daily, sweep and keep the area tidy and safe
- Vibrate concrete forms with a 15lb handheld vibrator
- Assist load and unload material and products as needed
- Maintain inventory of material and condition of forms
- Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team
- Follows appropriate environmental rules and regulations
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in a concrete plant with varying temperatures.
- Some work is required outdoors in weather conditions.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required
- Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely
- Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Is some Saturday work possible?
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Related work experience
