Maintenance Technician
Function: While reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the candidate is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of all production equipment, as well as facilities maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, and light welding at Deltec.
Duties & Responsibilities: The individual is responsible for:
1. Follow all Deltec safety policies and complete safety audits as required.
2. Demonstrate willingness to learn and manage multiple tasks within a team environment.
3. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.
4. Recommend and acquire necessary parts for repair and maintenance.
5. Open and close Deltec facilities as needed.
6. Be self-motivated, flexible, and cooperative.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Strong communication skills.
· Proven knowledge of basic mechanics, electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and light welding in an industrial setting.
· Physically able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Previous maintenance experience preferred.
· High School diploma or equivalent trade experience preferred.
· Valid driver’s license required; previous truck driving experience is a plus.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to read, understand, and work with basic fabrication skills
