Full job description
- Heavy equipment operator for a local special utility contractor. Work includes water, sewer, and storm drainage. Also, site work including grading and clearing.
- 90-day trial is required. An increase in salary will be discussed after the trial period.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment required
- A clean driving record is required, with reliable transportation to and from the lot.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations required.
- Drug and alcohol-free at all times while on the job. Must be able to pass a drug test at any given time.
- Class A CDL license is not required but preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating and coordinating with the owner, project manager, and foreman.
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws.
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours within our electronic system and clocking time on appropriate jobs.
Work days usually run Monday to Thursday, Fridays are needed occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $720.00 - $1,000.00 per week
