Well-known, local company looking to hire an experienced Marketing and Sales Director.
Compact Cottages is on path to be one of Asheville's largest private builders of reasonably priced workforce housing for sale. Through our development arm and partners, we have a full pipeline of subdivisions in development. Creating affordable housing is the passion that drive us. Compact Cottages is also building out a Prefab Home Factory in town to increase efficiency and expand our regional presence.
Thirsty Monk is a local food and beverage company operating multiple locations in town, including Thirsty Monk Downtown, Top of the Monk, and Thirsty Monk Biltmore Park.
This is a key strategic position reporting direct to CEO. We have some very strong brands that we need to further align our marketing with sales growth goals.
-Candidate should have demonstrated experience in sales and brand growth, and should be very detailed and methodical in their approach.
-Candidate should also be able to prepare press releases, interface with national and local media, and be able to prepare speaking presentations for CEO. Candidate should also have strong eye for good design and effective advertising and marketing collateral, and be able to lead graphics team and freelancers to prepare top quality materials.
-Candidate should be well versed in all social media platforms. Candidate should also be able to adapt with growing team, and be able to interface with all levels of staff to better understand and share our company vision, story, and brands.
-Should be able to design Sales growth campaigns and create the targeted marketing strategies to support those campaigns with measurable metrics.
