BABRM Scholarship March Madness Bracket Challenge

The Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountain's Workforce Development Committee is excited to release the BABRM Scholarship March Madness Bracket Challenge.  Anyone can play in this fun, easy way to support the Scholarship Program - after all, who doesn't like a little friendly competition? 

A $10 contribution per bracket enters you to select the teams you think will win the 2024 NCAA Basketball Tournament. 

Where do the proceeds go?

• 75% of the proceeds directly support future scholarships awarded to students studying in the construction field.

• 25% of the proceeds go to the lucky 1st Place Winner, along with some serious bragging rights! 

Completing a bracket is fun and easy:  Teams will be selected to play in the NCAA Tournament. The top 68 teams in the country will be selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament and assigned a seed and division. That is where you come in!

To complete the tournament bracket,  select the team you think will win each game.  For each correct pick in the 1st round, you will "score" 1 point.  The point totals increase for each round:  2 points for the 2nd round, 4 points for the Sweet 16 round, 8 points for the Elite Eight round, 16 points for the Final Four round, and 32 points for the Championship game.  If needed, the final score of the Championship game will be used as a tiebreaker to determine the winner.  Your bracket must be completed online, no later than 12:00pm on Thursday, March 21, prior to the start of play, in order to be eligible to win.

In order to participate in the bracket challenge, a $10 contribution (per bracket) to the BABRM must be made using the Register Here link above.

After you contribute, follow the directions on the screen or in the confirmation e-mail you will receive immediately after contributing.  FIRST, you will create your own log-in and password on CBS Sports or log-in to an existing account. Once you are logged in, you will Join our Bracket Group with the link provided in the confirmation email.
 
Directions to play:

1. Contribute to BABRM Scholarship Fund by purchasing March Madness Bracket(s), using the Register Here link above - this is open to anyone - members and non-members!
2. Follow the link in your confirmation e-mail to join our dedicated BABRM Bracket Group. You will FIRST need to create your own CBS log-in and password or use an existing login. (Please note that you will not be able to fill out your bracket until after the teams are selected on March 17, 2019.)
3. Check back to the CBS Sports website to see current standings throughout the tournament. 
4. Winner will be announced at the end of the tournament!
