SUMMARY:ACE Class - Geotech Considerations for Steep Slope Construction
DESCRIPTION:This class is full\, registration is closed. Only registered guests will be allowed to attend.\n\nDue to overwhelming interest\, we will be offering this class again. Check back soon for another date.\n\n\n\nClass Topic: Geotech Considerations for Steep Slope Construction\n\n- Building on steep lots can be challenging. Some municipalities have enacted ordinances that require specific criteria during permitting and construction. Of these criteria\, the geotechnical engineering aspects are often misunderstood and can create unnecessary complications for builders and their customers. ECS will provide an overview of some of the common geotechnical requirements\, discuss how they relate to permitting and construction\, and provide tips for how to successfully implement these in order to minimize delays and unanticipated costs.\n\nPresented by: Matt Fogleman\, ECS Carolinas\, LLP\n\nMatt Fogleman\, PE of ECS will be teaching how to enhance your knowledge of constructing on steep slope lots\, with particular emphasis on the geotechnical requirements of the Buncombe County Zoning Overlay Districts. They have experience in helping builders get through tough situations with these lots that fall under the County's zoning requirements.\n\nSponsored by 84 Lumber
